HFR Awards

Each fall, Harlem’s Fashion Row gathers the people moving fashion forward and gives them something to hold. I make those objects. Every year since the start, I have designed and fabricated the award handed to each honoree — a distinct piece per recipient, conceived as a modern artifact: contemporary form with the proportion of Art Deco and a longer memory of Egyptian and Sumerian design.
